What kind of events do you provide venue hire for?
We do corporate events like workshops and seminars, indoor and outdoor weddings, private partie, Christmas parties and private functions. We can do any type of event so please give us a call to discuss what you have in mind.
Do you require a deposit for bookings?
Yes we do require that you pay a deposit to secure the venue for your event or party. The amount will vary depending on the event and will be deducted from your total bill.
What is the capacity of the venue?
Langtons is ideal for medium to large events with maximum capacity for functions of 200 standing and 150 seated. The minimum number of guests is 50.
Can we bring in our own alcohol?
No Langtons is a fully licensed venue, we do not allow BYO. We have a wide variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages available in our bar.
What is the cost of the venue?
We have a number of different pricing structures depending on the type of event, the time of year and the day of the event.

Do these venue hire prices include or exclude GST?
All prices include GST. Menu and wine prices listed all include GST too.
When is the final payment for the event due?
Final payment for all weddings, corporate events and private functions are due 7 days prior to the function. Credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) incur a 3% administration charge.
Can Langtons provide audio equipment?
Yes we can provide equipment such as wireless microphones, data projectors, speakers and sounds system, television and DVD. Please let us know what you need and we can accommodate.
What time does the venue close?
The bar will close at 12am with last drinks till12.30 when all guests must leave.
What kinds of decorations are needed for the reception or function area?
The function room itself is characterised by its barrel room look and feel which gives it a warm and intimate ambiance. Add to that stylish yet simple chair covers and candles and the room lights spectacularly.
With our wedding package we provide tea lights and candelabras to add to the decoration of the room.
We can provide decorations like chair covers and flowers as well upon request.
What are the options for menus?
We have a wide range of menus available for different function needs. Our food and wine is renowned for its delectable quality. We have canapés, buffet and set menus as well as breakfast and lunch menus.
